Below are several suggested search options that will assist in developing a greater understanding of where and how the World Bank operates and identify relevant business opportunities.

  • Be clear about the specific area/s of specialization, expertise or practice your business offers. It is best to only target business opportunities that match. It is possible to search World Bank data by areas of specialization. The World Bank’s model is based on a matrix of 18 areas of specialization, known as Global Practices and 5 cross-cutting specializations known as Global Themes.

World Bank Procurement Framework
The World Bank's Procurement Framework governs projects financed by Investment Project Financing (IPF). The Framework was launched in July 2016. It supports Borrower’s achieve value-for-money with integrity in delivering sustainable development. The Framework promotes flexibility in tailoring procurement approaches that are fit-for-purpose and reflect choice, quality, and where possible, innovation, to optimize public spending and maximize outcomes.
